The U.S. Air Force is performing market research to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience and knowledge required to support Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser (WCMD) weapon system. The requirement is to produce a Telemetry Flight Kit that will be installed to provide a weapon information stream to a ground station. The Telemetry Kit will be used for all WCMD variant weapons. The data stream will give the Government in real time, arm, dispense and fin deployment information. There is no Government owned technical data for the WCMD Telemetry Kit. Additionally, the government furnished equipment (GFE) is limited for this effort. The contractor is responsible to provide all personnel, services, facilities, and materials to accomplish the effort. A first article test will be required to include government observation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary.

SOURCES SOUGHT: Navigation & Hydraulic Steel Structure Repair Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Contract

In preparation for potential upcoming procurements, The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers –  is cTulsa Districtonducting market research to determine potential sources to perform a variety of navigation and hydraulic steel structure repairs on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas Navigation System (MKARNS). The proposed requirement will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price, design/build, indefinite, delivery-indefinite quantity contract(s) procured in accordance with FAR 15, Negotiated Procurement using the trade-off process. Actual set-asides, capacity, and general scope of work decisions will be made based on market research. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, including the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and WOSB. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. SOURCES SOUGHT: Defense Advanced Global Positioning System Receiver

Performance and interface requirements are also contained in the Defense Advanced Global Positioning System Receiver DAGR specification. The current DAGR is manufactured by BAE, Inc. Potential bidders may obtain access to the current specification and reference documents from the Primary Point of Contact listed. The Government has no Research & Development dollars available for this contract. The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the DAGR production and repair units listed, The Government intends to award a five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Requirements type per FAR 16.503 for production of DAGRs (to include a warranty) as well as repairs, engineering services, computer-based training, and logistics support. BAE Systems, Inc. is currently the sole source manufacturer of DAGR.

Consortium Management Group Inc Awarded $98,567,402 For Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System Prototype Development

Consortium Management Group Inc., Washington, D.C., has been awarded a $98,567,402 other transaction agreement for resilient embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System prototype development. This agreement provides for rapid prototyping activity that includes development of detailed design prototypes, production representative prototypes, non-recurring engineering, contractor travel and the development of a technical data package. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C.; and Huntsville, Alabama, and is expected to be completed March 30, 2023.

This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and three offers were received. Fiscal 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $30,000,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8576-20-9-0001).
