The Aerospace Corp Awarded $1.150B for systems engineering and integration support for the National Space Community

The Aerospace Corp., El Segundo, California, has been awarded a $1,150,958,695 modification (P00065) to previously awarded contract FA8802-19-C-0001 for systems engineering and integration support for the National Space Community. This modification provides for the exercise of Option Year Three for fiscal 2022 services being procured under the multiple-year contract. Work will be performed in El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2022. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $4,470,506,651. Space Systems Command, El Segundo, California, is the contracting activity.

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory Awarded A $49,999,000 Contract For Air Warfare Systems

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Laurel, Maryland, has been awarded a $49,999,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for air warfare systems. This contract provides services for advanced development, acquisition and test and evaluation of aerospace systems, to include munitions, cyber warfare and electronic warfare elements. Work will be performed in Laurel, Maryland, and is expected to be completed July 31, 2026. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $800,000 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (FA8656-20-D-0005).

Deloitte Consulting awarded a Systems Engineering, Technology, and Innovation Contract For $106M

Deloitte Consulting LLC, Arlington, Virginia, was awarded a Systems Engineering, Technology, and Innovation prime integrator task order for an estimated $106,352,518 to design and build the Joint Common Foundation artificial intelligence development environment for the Department of Defense Joint Artificial Intelligence Center.

The period of performance is a one-year base period from Aug. 17, 2020, through Aug. 16, 2021, valued at approximately $31,000,000, with three one-year option periods through August 16, 2024.

Work will be performed in the greater Washington, D.C., area. The contracting activity is the Defense Information Systems Activity/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
