U.S. Army Granted $428M Contract To General Dynamics Land Systems

General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Michigan, was awarded a $428,229,970 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the field level maintenance, field service representative support, contingency maintenance support, new equipment training and total package fielding for the family of Stryker vehicles.

Bids were solicited via the internet with two received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2025. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, is the contracting activity (W56HZV-20-D-0075).

Ecosystem Acquisition Restructure for Sustainment Support East

The Infrastructure and Sustainment Line of Business, also known as SEL3, Sustainment Support is seeking information for potential sources for application support for Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and mission partner written software which runs on various operating systems, including but not limited to UNIX, LINUX, UNISYS, Operating System 2000 and Windows server in the Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) environments on a 24x7x365 basis.  The contractor shall provide installation, implementation, testing, maintenance, monitoring, web administration, troubleshooting, repair, and application security administration support.

These systems are governed according to Department of Defense (DoD) standards and include industry best practices to provide a secure environment for server database functionality.  Full lifecycle support for DISA managed database systems will be provided to include, but not limited to, initial installation and configuration of database technologies to deploy engineered system design solutions; daily operations, administration, and management of database technologies for the sustainment of database system availability, reliability, performance and security; and 24x7x365 issue/incident response, analysis, and resolution services supporting system return to operations.
