SOURCES SOUGHT: 6525–Non-Invasive Transient Elastography Device

This is a Request for Information (RFI) Only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics Operations (OPAL), is seeking potential Large Business and Small Businesses with a special emphasis on Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) vendors capable of providing Non-Invasive Transient Elastography Device to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). This RFI is for a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) product that will potentially meet future VA requirements. Liver elastography allows the point of care, non-invasive assessment of liver fibrosis, and steatosis (fat). Elastography works by emitting a small pulse of energy, and through the use of ultrasound technology, calculates the transmission speed of this energy through the liver to give healthcare providers a measure of the stiffness of the liver. Elastography techniques can also be used for the assessment of liver fat. A typical examination takes ~10-30 minutes. Assessment of liver fibrosis and liver fat is available immediately after the examination is complete. Consistent with the VHA mission, the National Gastrointestinal and Hepatology Program (NGHP) is pursuing an enterprise-wide contract vehicle that would enable VA medical facilities to obtain liver elastography equipment (including software, components, training, and service plans) for the assessment of liver fibrosis and hepatic steatosis or fat in the liver.

SOURCES SOUGHT: Engineering for Virtualized Enterprise and Remote Access Technology (EVEREST)

AFRL/RIKD is conducting market research for a potential requirement for Virtualized Enterprise and Remote Access Technology (EVEREST). Please note this Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only. The information obtained from responses to this notice may be used to form a future acquisition strategy and solicitation, should one be issued.

The Government is considering establishing one or more contracts / task orders / other transactions with an overall performance period of 5-7 years. Anticipated contract type is Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF). Anticipated funding types are Research Development Test & Evaluation, Procurement, and Operations & Maintenance. Please note that the contract type and duration are subject to change as the acquisition strategy is developed.

To fulfill this requirement, Contractor employees will need to obtain Common Access Cards (CACs), perform on Government facilities in the United States and other locations, and access up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). It is anticipated that only United States (US) citizens may perform under this effort.

The requirement includes specialized software research, software development, integration, deployment, familiarization, testing, installation, maintenance, and lifecycle support activities. This effort will enable research, enhancement, and maintenance of Multi-Level Access (MLA) data, information, processes, and systems. MLA solutions are a type of Cross Domain (CD) system that provides authorized users the ability to securely access data from multiple security domains from a single client device, while protecting the security domains from unauthorized access or malicious attack.

The Contractor will concentrate effort on enhancing a current MLA solution, researching and developing new MLA technologies, and supporting these solutions to meet current and rapidly evolving intelligence and security needs of the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and Intelligence Community (IC). As MLA requirements continue to evolve, consistent and rapid research, development, enhancement, and sustainment of SecureView and new applications will be required. Focus areas include Raise-the-Bar security requirements for cross domain, performance, commodity hardware compatibility, open source, lifecycle functions and phases to include studies, analyses, designs, development, recommendations, enhancements, integration management, configuration management, testing and evaluation of existing and new systems transitioning into an operational environment, software/hardware installation, certification and systems/network administration and operation. The effort will result in the availability of a scalable, certified MLA system to be utilized by the DAF, DoD, and IC agencies for increased security across multiple domains, accredited for operation at different classification levels within high-security environments.

The Contractor will participate in DAF efforts to provide other organizations with required CD Command & Control Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR) information when and where needed. Representative customer organizations for cross security domain MLA solutions include an existing user base, DAF (such as 16AF), DoD, Combatant Commands, IC, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and US Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.

Anticipated deliverables include: technical engineering throughout all aspects of the system and software lifecycle; technical, programmatic and gap analysis; prototype development; system and program administration; site support; and security engineering as well as computer software, documentation, engineering and security reports, installations analysis and support, and operations, maintenance, and system administration services.

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is currently in the process of determining the acquisition strategy and whether a socio-economic set-aside or small business would be appropriate for this acquisition. To that end, the USCG is seeking to identify potential vendors that possess the capabilities to provide Contractor International Training and Analysis Support Services for the USCG, Directorate of International Affairs and Foreign Policy Advisor (DCO-I).

This is a sources sought notice and request for information (RFI). The draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached for reference.

Any interested party may submit a capability statement by 4:00pm ET by Wednesday, January 5, 2022. The capability statement shall address your organization’s relevant experience in performing the requirements set forth under Section 2 of the attached draft SOW. Additionally, when submitting a capability statement, please include the following information:

SOURCES SOUGHT: MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS)

This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The Government is requesting information regarding industry’s capabilities and related experience for production and engineering of the United States Navy’s (USNs) future MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS). The primary efforts include the production of Continuous Wave Illuminator (CWI) radar transmitters, Data Converter Cabinets (DCC), ancillary equipment and spares for the MK 99 FCS, as well as associated engineering services to generate and deliver the MK 99 FCS Technical Data Package (TDP), and to provide technical data for the follow-on configuration to the MK 99 FCS TDP in accordance with MIL-STD-31000B.

The USN program provides the equipment that generates Radio Frequency (RF) energy at nominal power to the Director Group Antenna for target and missile illumination. This is shipboard tactical equipment which meets Navy Surface Ship Environmental Qualification Requirements for installation aboard U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ships.

The Government anticipates a majority of the work to be performed at the contractor’s site.

The Department of the Air Force (DAF) seeks to identify and obtain information from responsible sources in connection with the acquisition of comprehensive charging services for the electrification of their non-tactical fleet, with specific locations and scope still under evaluation.

The DAF is ultimately seeking one or more industry providers herein known as the “Provider”, to cost-effectively and comprehensively deliver reliable, resilient, and efficient “Charging as a Service” or “CaaS” services to electric vehicles (EVs) in the form of a comprehensive vehicle electrification charging solution. Ideally the solution would provide a turn-key charging capability to the DAF non-tactical fleet. The DAF is seeking Providers who will install, own, operate (to include point-of-sale cost collections, billing, and reimbursements) and sustain charging capabilities, EVSE, and associated electric and cyber infrastructure. The USPS OIG is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for market research and potential limited competition in the future. The USPS OIG has a requirement for a solution that provides tracking and accountability of all accountable property including computer equipment, investigative tools, and equipment, fixtures/furnishings, and vehicles. The asset management solution tool must provide historical information regarding asset purchase, assignment, reassignments, deletions, and surplus activities. The solution must interface with other information systems deployed by the agency including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and database programs. The solution must provide a reportable, reliable inventory to ensure USPS OIG maintains its standard of excellence in accountability.
