SOURCES SOUGHT: MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS)

This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The Government is requesting information regarding industry’s capabilities and related experience for production and engineering of the United States Navy’s (USNs) future MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS). The primary efforts include the production of Continuous Wave Illuminator (CWI) radar transmitters, Data Converter Cabinets (DCC), ancillary equipment and spares for the MK 99 FCS, as well as associated engineering services to generate and deliver the MK 99 FCS Technical Data Package (TDP), and to provide technical data for the follow-on configuration to the MK 99 FCS TDP in accordance with MIL-STD-31000B.

The USN program provides the equipment that generates Radio Frequency (RF) energy at nominal power to the Director Group Antenna for target and missile illumination. This is shipboard tactical equipment which meets Navy Surface Ship Environmental Qualification Requirements for installation aboard U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ships.

The Government anticipates a majority of the work to be performed at the contractor’s site.

SOURCES SOUGHT: NTIA Spectrum Information Technology Modernization

A key mission of the Department of Commerce and NTIA is to manage the use of the radio frequency spectrum by all federal agencies. NTIA’s associated processes and Information Technology (IT) systems for performing this critical task are severely outdated, with reliance in large part on software that is in some cases over three decades old. Our need to modernize these systems is acute, especially as we endeavor to make the spectrum more accessible for government and commercial users alike. This acquisition will support the modernization and evolution of the current NTIA Spectrum IT Systems to help meet the United States’ ever-increasing electromagnetic spectrum demands.
