The United States Army Contracting Command at Rock Island (ACC-RI) Information Technology Directorate (CCRI-TB) is seeking industry feedback regarding a potential solicitation. This Request for Information (RFI) notice is being published for market research purposes only, to seek information from potential offerors for the contemplated acquisition of Enterprise Digital IF Multi-Carrier (EDIM) Modems to integrate with DoD SATCOM Gateways and enable Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) capabilities over Digital IF ground segment architectures. This effort requires the Contractor to provide design, development, testing, documentation, fabrication, and delivery of production units, hardware and software sustainment including Information Assurance and performance capability enhancements for the Enterprise Digital Intermediate Frequency Multi-Carrier (EDIM) Modem as a replacement to the current deployed aging Enhanced Bandwidth Efficient Modem (EBEM) supporting Tri-services Satellite Communication (SATCOM) users. The EDIM Modem is a single channel per carrier modem that supports the gradual migration of SATCOM terminals and baseband equipment towards digital Intermediate Frequency (IF) architecture.
