The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make award on a sole source basis per FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) with Baxter Healthcare Corporation for the provision of Peritoneal Dialysis Solutions and Supplies. The items will be provided to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, located at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, One Baxter Parkway, DF6-4W, Deerfield, IL 60015. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement with Baxter Healthcare Corporation.
